If the word "salad" doesn't get you jazzed up, we've got news for you. You've been salad-ing all wrong. Salads never get the attention they deserve, and we'd like to change that. We're here to make boring salads a thing of your past! The culinary possibilities when it comes to salad are truly infinite, and yet somehow most people stick to a very strict definition of what makes a salad, and aren't aware of the simple techniques that can elevate their creations to truly showstopping levels. We'll help you toss out the rule book and dive fearlessly into the world of unique, bold and unexpected salads. We'll show you how to build your flavors from the ground up, incorporating colors and textures to create something as visually beautiful as it is delicious. We'll talk about how to create your own dressings from scratch, and give you the real secrets to making a restaurant-worthy salad right at home. You'll get to tour Waystone Farm, chat with Deb, the farmer, and select ingredients from the garden for your class. You'll learn about sustainability, and how our food choices affect that natural world around us. As with all of our classes, you'll enjoy a sustainable wine pairing when it comes time to enjoy the day's creations!
Cancellation Policy
All cooking + beverage classes are completely non-refundable. We are unable to offer any sort of refund or credit for future classes. We have only a small amount of spaces available for each class, so please be absolutely certain you can attend the class before you purchase a spot. If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, please let us know. If you'd like to send someone else in your place, please inform us of the change prior to your event date. Our classes take place rain or shine. If for some reason beyond our control we are forced to cancel your class, we will refund 100% of your purchase.
